@ the Google I/O 2009, day 2, Google unveiled it's latest new web app, the Google Wave. It's basically Facebook, but with an added touch of real timeness, live editing collaboration. Did I mention it has a built in spell checker, which they affectionately named it "Spelly"? It is definitely faster and more fluid than Facebook. It supports drag and drop! Right now it is still under development, but I can see in the future, this will replace organizing events in gmail. There are a bunch of neat gadgets/extensions under development (aka apps in Facebook). See for yourself.
