This is a glorified video of our UCD5 entering the national 2005 NATCAR competition. We placed 3rd out of the whole competition. I know, wow. Apparently, we were really smart, or the odds were in our favor that day =)

Binary Calc v1.8

- Fine tuned the icon
- Expanded the buttons, better compatibility with tablets
- Discontinued QVGA support (small screen devices). Sorry, not enough users

As always, you can download it from the usual places, except for SlideMe, I've lost confidence from that market. Not only are there too few downloads, but their system crash (around Easter last month) wiped my app from their system completely. Their solution is, "upload it again"...

    Binary Calc v1.7.5 New Icon!

Not a big update, but I've finally created a new icon to with my app. It looks like an iTunes icon, but it's actually a calculator with a "10" below the display. No more boring two color binary note looking icon. Let me know in the comments whether you like the icon or not. There is no additional functionality added in this update unfortunately. I am looking to update the app with an additional feature, but this is limited to the paid version only.

In other great news, my app is now listed on the Amazon App Marketplace.

There is no difference between these version and the one in the Android Market, they are exactly the same. I wanted it to be available in all places possible. Enjoy!

    Binary Calc v1.7.3 Release

This is a minor release to fix two force close bugs. No changes to UI or functionality. Sorry for any inconvenience the app may have caused. Thanks for your continual support!

    Binary Calc v1.7.2

    Binary Calc v1.7.2

*Update the way OR and AND operations work. It no longer shifts the whole calculator pad downwards. The operands will no longer show up while you are entering the operation. The operation and result will show up as a popup instead.

It look exactly the same before (except for the admob banner, ignore that please), but I assure you it has changed on the inside. I am planning on making in-app tutorials in the next release. Stay tuned!

    Binary Calc on SlideMe

I've put Binary Calc on Slideme now. If anybody can't get my apps from the Android Market, you can get it here.

    Binary Calc v1.7

Binary Calc v1.7 is out. Not much new functionality with this release, just maintaining code. I removed the window title skin since other people may have their own skinning from their rooted phones. Also, you will see a full screen ad now when you press the reset button (lite version), which is cooler than that stupid small banner from before.

    Release Notes:

*Changed it so that when you switch to ascii mode, it will not reset the top three row bits
    *Minor visual changes

    Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Concert

I grew up listening to the four heavenly kings and it was a honor to see one of them in concert. Only two more heavenly king concerts to go and I will have seen all four of them. These pics were tough to get, but it was worth it.

Binary Calc Lite Update 1.6.2 and New Market

You guys complained, so I'm removing the annoyance factor of the ad screen. It's only going to appear after you press the [Reset], which makes a lot more sense. Honestly, I was just trying to see if you guys even noticed since nobody likes to leave comments =). I'm using a new ad network, so you'll see better looking ads then just a banner.

I'm loving the new Android market! I like how it showcases the apps and you can 'Tweet' the app too. Definitely one uping Apple. What's missing is a help page just for the developer to customize. That would make the app page a one stop site for everything you need to know about the app.

If you like the app, please download the full version. It comes with no ads!

    CES 2011

Pics from our first time at CES. We only had three full hours to go through what we can, which was mainly computer, wireless mobile stuff, and TVs. Enjoy!
